The movie titled “The Woman in the Yard” is helmed by Jaume Collet-Serra and penned by newcomer screenwriter Sam Stefanak. In this production, Danielle Deadwyler, Okwui Okpokwasili, Russell Hornsby, Peyton Jackson, and Estella Kahiha take on the leading roles. Notably, Collet-Serra and Deadwyler had collaborated before on Netflix’s 2024 action film “Carry-On”.

The movie’s synopsis states that Ramona, severely injured, finds herself responsible for her 14-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter living in a secluded farmhouse. One day, an enigmatic woman appears in their yard. Initially thinking the woman is lost or confused, Ramona soon realizes she’s dealing with someone far from ordinary, as the woman’s approach becomes menacingly close to the house. Now, Ramona must gather her strength to shield herself and her children from the unwanted attention of this relentless stranger who refuses to stay away.

The movie was made by Jason Blum and Stephanie Allain, with Deadwyler, Collet-Serra, James Moran, and Gabrielle Ebron serving as executive producers.
