As a gamer with a soft spot for animated movies, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of “The Wild Robot” ever since its theatrical debut was announced. Having grown up watching classics like “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Lilo & Stitch,” I was thrilled to learn that this new film is directed by none other than Chris Sanders, a mastermind in the realm of animated cinema.
As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed the upcoming release dates for “The Wild Robot” in 4K, Blu-ray, and digital formats. This announcement follows closely after Lupita Nyong’o’s captivating movie, which led the sci-fi adventure of DreamWorks Animation, graced our cinema screens over two weeks ago!
“The movie tells the tale of Roz, a robot stranded on an isolated island after a shipwreck. Over time, she learns to survive in these harsh conditions and forms bonds with the island’s animals, particularly a cunning fox, eventually raising an orphaned goose named Brightbill as her foster child. THE WILD ROBOT offers a captivating exploration of self-discovery, delves into the intriguing interplay between technology and nature, and stirs emotions with its poignant portrayal of life, connection, and being part of the larger ecosystem.
