Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood have put the rumors of a dispute between them to rest. The co-stars from ‘The White Lotus‘ Season 3 sat down with Variety for an interview and photoshoot, discussing their friendship, addressing the feud speculation, and explaining why Goggins stopped following Wood on Instagram.
Goggins, clearly moved, expressed to Wood, “There’s no conflict here.” He continued, “I deeply cherish this woman, I’m madly in love with her, and she holds a significant place in my heart. I plan to be in Greece, but she’s extraordinary. There is no conflict. She embodies love for me, and I know that I embody the same for her. We have a profound connection.
At the 2025 Met Gala, Wood addressed and quashed rumors of a feud with Goggins during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. When asked if she would join Walton for a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live while he hosts, she cryptically responded, “I can’t say, but also I’m not, I’m not doing that.” However, she swiftly put to rest any speculation of a rift between them, complimenting her collaboration with Goggins as an amazing experience, referring to it as the “best thing ever”.
In their photoshoot for Variety, actors Steve Goggins and Natasha Wood portrayed the characters Rick and Chelsea. This was their first encounter since the debut of The White Lotus Season 3 in February. After the show concluded its filming, several accounts of cast tension emerged. As the series unfolded on TV, viewers began to notice that Goggins no longer tagged Wood on social media, fueling more speculation.
Tensions rose following a Saturday Night Live comedy sketch that poked fun at Wood’s appearance. Goggins, in response, posted a comment on SNL’s Instagram post, taking it lightly, but Wood found the sketch harsh and unamusing. (via BBC)
