The Waterfront Trailer: Holt McCallany & Maria Bello Turn to Drugs to Retain Their Empire

Netflix unveiled a trailer for its upcoming family drama series titled “The Waterfront“, based on real-life incidents. The show is set to premiere on June 19, 2025, and will consist of eight episodes.

For years, the Buckley clan has held sway over Havenport, North Carolina – controlling everything from our local fishing industry to the town’s culinary scene. However, after my patriarch, Harlan Buckley, suffered two heart attacks, and with mother Belle and brother Cane stepping up to keep the family businesses running, it feels like we’re swimming against the tide.

In challenging circumstances and dangerous situations, Harlan steps in to assume control. Meanwhile, Bree – Buckley’s daughter who is a recovering addict and has lost custody of her son – becomes involved in a complex relationship that might jeopardize the family’s future forever. This intricate drama unfolds against the scenic coastline of North Carolina over eight episodes, delving not only into family dynamics but also revealing just how far people will push themselves when their legacy hangs in the balance.

The series “The Waterfront” is helmed by showrunner Kevin Williamson (known for “Scream,” “Dawson’s Creek,” and “The Vampire Diaries”). The ensemble includes Rafael L.
