AMC has shared the debut date for the third season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon spin-off. This fifth offshoot of The Walking Dead made its debut on September 10, 2023. The first season concluded airing on October 15, 2023. The second season aired from September 29, 2024, to November 3, 2024. The series was renewed for another season in July 2024.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 to come out this September
On the 7th of September, 2025, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 is set to air on both AMC and AMC+ at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. Similar to the release pattern of the previous seasons, this new season will also consist of six episodes, much like its first two installments.
In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3, Norman Reedus reprises his role as Daryl Dixon, joined by Melissa McBride portraying Carol Peletier. Additional cast members include Hada Nieto, Candela Saitta, Yassmine Othman, and Gonzalo Bouza, among others. Notable new series regulars for the upcoming season are Óscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay, and Eduardo Noriega.
Following the official announcement of Season 3 in July 2024, Reedus expressed his excitement in a press statement: “I’m overjoyed to share that we have a third season coming up! I’ll be working alongside the exceptional Melissa McBride… We had a fantastic time filming it, and we can’t wait for you to enjoy it as much as we did creating it. Let’s continue this story together!” (as reported by Variety)
Season 3 of “The Walking Dead” featuring Daryl Dixon on AMC is the sixth installment in the TV franchise based on the same-titled graphic novel series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The original television show serves as an adaptation of this comic book series.
In the third season, we shift our location to sunny Spain, with filming taking place from August 2024 to February 2025. The narrative is rumored to revolve around Daryl and Carol, as they embark on a journey to return home.
