As a hardcore Walking Dead fan with over a decade of zombie-slaying experience under my belt, I must say I am beyond excited for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3! The teaser trailer has only fueled my anticipation, especially with the tantalizing hint of Daryl and Carol’s journey through Spain.

During the broadcast of The Walking Dead’s Season 2 finale, a sneak peek at Daryl Dixon’s third season was revealed.
The aforementioned clip shows Daryl and Carol in Spain. He says to her, “I was ready to give up. Thought it was all over,” prompting her to respond, “You and me both.”

By the conclusion of Season 2, I found myself and my fellow protagonist navigating a tunnel, heading towards London from France. It remains a mystery as to how and when we’ll find ourselves in Spain for Season 3. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon had its premiere on September 10, 2023, while the second season, famously known as The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, premiered a year later on September 29, 2024.
Back in July 2024, it was announced that our favorite show got the green light for a third season! Right now, they’re busy filming all across beautiful Spain. Some of the amazing places we’ll be seeing include Galicia, Catalonia, Aragón, and Valencia. I can hardly wait to dive back into this virtual world!
In season three, Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier will persist in their quest to get back home and reunite with those they care about. However, their journey becomes more complicated, leading them into uncharted territories with constantly shifting and unusual surroundings. Along the way, they encounter different ramifications of the Walker apocalypse.
In 2025, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 is set to air on both AMC and AMC+. Apart from Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, this new season will also introduce Óscar Jaenada, Eduardo Noriega, Alexandra Masangkay, Stephen Merchant, and several other talented actors.
