As a die-hard fan of The Walking Dead, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming season 2 of Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol! Having followed the series since its inception, it’s truly remarkable to see it expand and evolve with new seasons, particularly one that takes us overseas.
Gear up, fellow gamers! The long-awaited debut of season 2 for “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol” is just around the corner. I can hardly contain my excitement as we delve deeper into Daryl’s (Norman Reedus) escapades in France, and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) makes her grand return in this upcoming season. Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 29th at 9 p.m. ET, as AMC and AMC+ bring us the premiere
Filming for season 3 of Daryl Dixon started in August, and the upcoming episodes are set to introduce several changes. One significant alteration is the shift in filming locations; instead of the usual U.S. settings, this season will be filmed primarily in Spain. Specifically, Madrid, Galicia, Aragón, Catalonia, and Valencia regions will serve as our backdrop. This move abroad marks a new expansion for the universe of The Walking Dead, making it the first time the story ventures outside of the U.S
In the upcoming third season, we’ll witness Carol and Daryl as they strive to return to their home base. Their journey will lead them to distant regions, offering a wider perspective on how the apocalypse has impacted various parts of the globe. The route they choose is filled with challenges that only serve to derail them even more from their original path
2025 marks the premiere of the third season, where David Zabel remains the showrunner and also serves as an executive producer alongside Scott M. Gimple. Andrew Lincoln (Reedus), Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival, and Steve Squillante will continue in their executive producing roles. New additions to the team for this season are Silvia Aráez and Jesús de la Vega from Ánima Stillking, who have joined as executive producers
