The Walking Dead characters come to Dead by Daylight

Behaviour Interactive is collaborating again with a well-known intellectual property, this time introducing characters from The Walking Dead into Dead by Daylight. AMC and Skybound Entertainment have teamed up with Behaviour to introduce Rick Grimes and Michonne as new Survivors, while Daryl Dixon will be available as an ultimate skin for Rick. Additionally, the appearance of The Walking Dead characters will influence a new map element, modifying the Garden of Joy in the game.

This week, Behaviour Interactive unveiled the specifics of The Walking Dead partnership for Dead by Daylight through a press statement and teaser video. In this game, characters such as Rick and Michonne are introduced as entirely new Survivors, each with unique Teachable Perks to learn and share within your team. Daryl Dixon is presented as a skin for Rick, but both characters are voiced by their original AMC actors, Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln.

It’s quite fascinating that when any of these characters appear on the Garden of Joy map, it transforms to incorporate notable locations from The Walking Dead series. This includes sections of the prison during seasons 3 and 4, as well as the “Don’t Open, Dead Inside” hospital setting from the first episode.

In a new development for Dead by Daylight, the Five Nights At Freddy’s antagonist has been added, along with a corresponding map. This expansion comes on top of the game’s existing original content. Given the growing collection of renowned horror characters in the game, it’s surprising that The Walking Dead hasn’t been included before now, as many fans have long anticipated this collaboration.

Now that the error has been corrected, you can find characters like Rick, Michonne, and Daryl from the Walking Dead available in Dead by Daylight across all platforms as of today. Keep an eye on the Dead by Daylight topic for future news and updates.
