I’m wondering who the artists are that advanced to the Semi-Finals of The Voice Season 27, following the recent turn of events? With the finale just around the corner, the competition intensified as the Coaches employed a surprise Super Save to resurrect four previously eliminated contestants.
Here’s who advanced to the Top 12—and which four artists returned for another shot at the crown.
What is the Super Save rules for The Voice Semi-Finals?
In simple terms, the “Super Save” rule permitted each coach to re-instate one artist who had been eliminated during the playoffs, allowing them to compete in the Semi-Finals. This surprise announcement was made by Host Carson Daly following the second Playoff night on May 5, 2025.
Carson Daly informed Coaches John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, and Adam Levine that they could each pick an additional artist for their team, saying “You’re allowed to bring back one artist each.” He then added, “The Super Save is activated…go share this exciting news with a third artist” which expanded the number of artists on each team from two to three.

- Kaiya Hamilton
- Jaelen Johnston
- Connor James
Michael Bublé showed his excitement by exclaiming, “That’s who I know!” upon learning the news, contrastingly, Adam Levine expressed positivity saying, “I enjoy offering a second chance.” Ballerini and Levine chose to share the information with their artists via phone calls, whereas Bublé and Legend decided to personally deliver the news.

Among the contestants moving on to The Voice Semi-Finals are the initial Top 8 Playoff victors, along with the four artists who were given a second chance through the Super Save feature.
