The Team That Finally Could End WWE’s The Bloodline

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of wrestling fandom under my belt, I can confidently say that The Bloodline has been the most captivating and enduring storyline in recent WWE history. From Roman Reigns’ rise as the Tribal Chief to Solo Sikoa’s emergence as the new leader, this saga has been nothing short of exhilarating.

For more than four years, the dynasty known as The Bloodline has held sway over WWE, initially with Roman Reigns at the helm and now passing the torch to Solo Sikoa. This powerful group was established in 2015 when Roman Reigns and The Usos, who had a history of teaming up, forged their alliance.

By the close of 2019, this threesome started getting matched up as they were all popular characters (babyfaces). But when Roman Reigns unveiled his Tribal Chief persona, things took a dramatic turn, eventually culminating in the establishment of The Bloodline in 2021, following Jimmy Uso’s recovery from injury.

Ever since 2020, The Bloodline has been ruling the WWE. Recent additions like Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa have bolstered their ranks, offering intriguing long-term narratives for fans. Even though the original group consisting of Jey Uso and Sami Zayn is no longer together, due to them going separate ways, The Bloodline continues to adapt and grow.

After WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns went on a break, and Solo Sikoa stepped up as the new head of The Bloodline. Sikoa instituted significant shifts within the group, dismissing Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman while recruiting fresh faces. The revamped Bloodline now boasts Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and the enigmatic Jacob Fatu among its ranks. Under Solo Sikoa’s guidance, The Bloodline has maintained their iron grip over the entire roster.

The Lineage has left a substantial mark not only on WWE’s story arcs but also on the organization as a whole. Yet, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has put forth an intriguing group with the potential to contest and eventually dethrone The Bloodline’s current dominion.

Rikishi suggests the ultimate team to challenge The Bloodline

Rikishi, a WWE Hall of Famer and father of Solo Sikoa and The Usos, recently offered his thoughts on the ongoing Bloodline saga in an interview for “Off The Top” podcast. He proposed that The Bloodline should encounter a genuine good-guy team to fully develop their story arc.

He stated, “I’d have to have a team like DX put together. The history of The Bloodline, and the new history of The Bloodline 2.0 all falls underneath the umbrella of the Samoan dynasty. Legacy, and just that alone, the title alone, you put them with, you’ve got to put these guys with the right people to get the best out of them. Not knocking Cody Rhodes, not knocking Randy [Orton] and [Kevin] Owens … to make a good babyface, you’ve got to have the good heels.”

As the Hall of Famer shares his thoughts about wrapping up The Bloodline tale, it seems that the fans’ reactions indicate a different stance. It appears that quite a few fans are not yet prepared to say goodbye to this story arc. Instead, there is a growing excitement among fans for the potential reunification of the original Bloodline group.
