Season 3 resumes about two years since we last saw it. Belly finds herself in college and engaged to Jeremiah, yet her mother disapproves of their union. They are working on their future together, but there’s still a lot up in the air. The return of Conrad stirs memories of the past, leaving Belly conflicted once more between her two deep-seated loves.
Based On The Final Book Of The Trilogy
The third installment appears to draw heavily from the final novel of Jenny Han’s popular trilogy as its foundation. Previous seasons have seen alterations, yet this one seems more faithful to the source material. In the original narrative, Belly initially agrees to Jeremiah’s proposal, only to discover later that her heart belongs to Conrad. Whether the show will follow suit in its conclusion is yet undecided.
The Cast
The majority of the principal actors will be reprising their roles for this season: Lola Tung as Belly, Christopher Briney as Conrad, and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah. Additionally, Rain Spencer will return as Taylor, Sean Kaufman as Steven, and both of Belly’s parents.
