In the movie titled “The Smile Man,” R Sarathkumar portrays the character of Chidambaram, a veteran police officer who is grappling with Alzheimer’s disease. As he comes to terms with this recent discovery about himself, Chidambaram has only one year left before his memory completely disappears.
Despite this ongoing situation, the man now faces a serial killer who’s causing havoc by targeting victims in a similar manner. With his health condition potentially complicating matters, he must lean on his expertise and intelligence to crack the case and identify the perpetrator. As the movie unfolds, it transforms into a thrilling race against time to catch the murderer, while also delving into the psychological aspects of both the killer and the protagonist.

Title character The Smile Man stars R Sarathkumar as a police officer, making his 150th film appearance. Alongside him, the movie boasts a talented cast including Sija Rose, Iniya, Suresh Chandra Menon, Rajkumar, George Maryan, Baby Aazhiya, Kumar Natarajan, Gopi Gpr, and numerous others.
The film was directed by Syam and Praveen, featuring musical compositions by Gavaskar Avinash.
