The Sandy Liang x Beats Solo 4 Headphones Have a Bow on Top

It appears that there is hardly anything that the New York City designer, Sandy Liang, cannot transform or reinterpret using her unique design perspective, whether it be pink-toned Salomon Sportstyle sneakers, plush Monchhichis adorned with her name, or now, stylish Beats Solo 4 headphones.

Liang adorns the silver metallic silhouette’s headband with a hand-drawn pink ribbon pattern, and places two pastel pink “b” logos on each side. The headphones arrive in a box that features a 3D-sculpted pink ribbon design. From a technical perspective, these over-the-ear headphones provide up to 50 hours of battery life, along with the high-quality audio Beats Solo is known for. They retail for $199.99 USD.

As a devotee, I’ve been captivated by the harmonious blend of nostalgia and contemporary vibes, and partnering with Beats seemed like the ideal platform to materialize this vision. They embody such a powerful cultural symbol, and I aimed for this alliance to resonate on a personal level – merging practicality with a dash of whimsy and individuality. I envisioned it as more than mere headphones, but an engaging accessory that exudes joy.

Photographer Pia Riverola teamed up with model Amelia Gray for their joint campaign, which was staged at Liang’s urban New York City residence.
