The Rule of Jenny Pen Trailer: Geoffrey Rush & John Lithgow Star in Thriller Movie

IF Cinema Films has unveiled the trailer for their upcoming psychological thriller, titled “The Rule of Jenny Pen“, which features Academy Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush and Golden Globe recipient John Lithgow. The film is set to hit cinemas on Friday, March 7th.

In a nursing home resides Judge Stefan Mortensen, once known for his arrogance, who now struggles with partial paralysis following a stroke. Isolated from the caregivers and his roommate, he has a contentious relationship with fellow resident Dave Crealy, who secretly orchestrates a cruel game called “The Rule of Jenny Pen.” Initially appearing harmless, Crealy’s actions soon become increasingly sinister and unsettling. As Mortensen’s complaints to the staff fall on deaf ears, he decides to confront Crealy and put an end to his malicious behavior.

What happens in The Rule of Jenny Pen trailer?

The video presents Lithgow’s character as an elderly psychopath who delights in cruel pranks towards his fellow retirement home residents. However, it falls on Rush’s character to devise a solution to prevent him from inflicting further fear and mistreatment. The ensemble features Nathaniel Lees as Sonny Ausage, Thomas Sainbury as Caretaker Mike, Ian Mune as Howie Wicker, George Henare as Tony Garfield, Maaka Pohatu as Dr Neels, Holly Shanahan as Madeline Shepard, Ginette McDonald as Sally Pile, Hilary Norris as Eunice Joyce, and others.

James Ashcroft directs ‘The Rule of Jenny Pen,’ a movie scripted by him and Eli Kent, inspired by Owen Marshall’s short story. This production is overseen by executive producers including Ashcroft, Kent, Lithgow, Rush, Emily Gotto, Nicholas Lazo, and Samuel Zimmerman. Catherine Fitzgerald and Orlando Stewart serve as the producers. Matt Henley handles the cinematography, while Gretchen Peterson edits.
