Warner Bros. has unveiled the release date for the upcoming horror comedy film titled “The Parenting,” set to air on Max. Starring Emmy-winning actress Lisa Kudrow (from Friends), this movie revolves around a couple whose peaceful romantic retreat transforms into a riotously scary ordeal when they unwittingly rent a haunted house.

When is The Parenting Max release date?

Starting on Thursday, March 13th, you’ll be able to stream “The Parenting” only on Max. Joining star Jennifer Kudrow will be an impressive cast that includes Nik Dodani from “Atypical” as Rohan, Brandon Flynn from “13 Reasons Why” as Josh, Brian Cox from “Succession” as Frank, Edie Falco from “Nurse Jackie” as Sharon, Dean Norris from “Breaking Bad” as Cliff, Parker Posey from “Dazed and Confused” as Brenda, Vivian Bang from “Always Be My Maybe” as Sara, and others.

The storyline revolves around Rohan and Josh, a youthful duo, who are arranging an idyllic country retreat for their parents. However, as Sharon and Frank, the traditional pair, clash with Liddy and Cliff, the easy-going ones, tension builds up. To make matters worse, they find out that the rental property they chose, overseen by peculiar resident Brenda, is inhabited by a 400-year-old poltergeist. When one parent is completely taken over by this spirit, it falls upon Rohan, Josh, and their nosy best friend Sara to bring the families together and banish the malevolent force forever.

This horror-comedy film is helmed by director Craig Johnson, who collaborated with writer Kent Sublette on the script. The production is overseen by Chris Bender and Jake Weiner. In addition, Richard Brener, Chris Pan, David Neustadter, and Jared Ian Goldman serve as executive producers for the project.
