As a seasoned horror enthusiast with decades of spine-tingling experiences under my belt, I can confidently say that the trailer for He Never Left has me on the edge of my seat! The chilling atmosphere and nostalgic vibe it exudes instantly transported me back to the golden age of slasher films.
The horror label DREAD, under Epic Pictures, has released the trailer for the forthcoming slasher movie titled He Never Left. This upcoming film revolves around a ruthless murderer who has been tormenting a nearby town for quite some time.
In addition, the movie “He Never Left”, which is the second film produced by Witching Season Films, has been selected for various film festivals such as A Night Of Horror, Bloodstained Indie Film Festival, Desertscape Film Festival, Los Angeles Crime and Horror Film Festival, Utah Film Festival, among others. This production is helmed by James Morris, who is also known for his work on “The Witching Season”.
What happens in the He Never Left trailer?
The trailer opens with the characters frightened over the Pale Face killer’s potential return. Proving that some “legends refuse to die,” the notorious killer then started to orchestrate a killing spree yet again, targeting a fugitive and his girlfriend.
Following the detection of mysterious sounds from a neighboring motel room, a federal fugitive along with his partner found themselves in the crosshairs of the infamous “Pale Face” murderer, a figure who’s chilling tale has cast a long shadow over the local populace for many decades.

Besides taking on the director role, Morris will also appear in the upcoming film. Alongside him are Colin Cunningham from Falling Skies, Jessica Staples from The Deceiver, Sean Hunter from 17 Miracles, Charla Bocchicchio from Yellowstone, David E. McMahon from The Inspectors, Jake Watters from They Live Inside Us, and Will McAllister from Worst Prom Ever.
As the movie’s scribe, I, along with Michael Ballif and Cunningham, have penned down the script. Interestingly enough, not just me, but also Michael Ballif and I were the ones who produced this masterpiece as well.
Ballif expressed that as enthusiasts of the slasher genre, they aimed to develop a work that evokes a sense of familiarity and nostalgia, but also offers something unique and innovative. I’m excited for viewers to embark on the journey we’ve designed in He Never Left.
Starting November 1, “He Never Left” will have a short time in select theaters for viewing. From November 5, you can rent or buy the movie through Video-on-Demand platforms.
