The Odyssey Cast Loses Cosmo Jarvis, Adds Spider-Man: Homecoming Actor

I’m bummed to say it, but I won’t be embarking on Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey anymore. According to recent reports, I’ve stepped away from the project and been replaced during its entire production process.

Who is joining The Odyssey cast?

Based on a Deadline report, it appears that Logan Marshall-Green has taken over the unspecified role from Jarvis. Previously, Marshall-Green portrayed Jackson Brice in Homecoming, and he’s also recognized for his performance in Prometheus.

In my perspective, you might be wondering about why Jarvis had to step away from the project we were all eagerly anticipating. According to Deadline, it seems that he encountered some intricate scheduling dilemmas that ultimately led him to withdraw from the film right before the cameras started rolling. At present, it appears that Jarvis is gearing up for another exciting role, this time as Young Stalin in an upcoming biopic.

The Odyssey boasts an extraordinarily talented ensemble, consisting of the likes of Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Mia Goth, Benny Safdie, Jon Bernthal, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton, Jesse Garcia, Will Yun Lee, Corey Hawkins, Josh Stewart, Jimmy Gonzales, Maurice Compte, and numerous others.

Christopher Nolan’s future movie titled “The Odyssey” is a grand, mythical action adventure filmed globally using cutting-edge IMAX camera technology, as announced by Universal. This upcoming film marks the debut of Homer’s timeless tale on IMAX screens and is set to hit cinemas everywhere on July 17, 2026.

In the 8th or 7th century BC, it’s believed that The Odyssey was penned, making it a significant piece in the annals of literature.
