The Odyssey Cast Adds Elliot Page, Himesh Patel & 2 Others to Christopher Nolan’s Star-Studded Movie

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that the stellar cast for Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” is expanding even further! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, and Samantha Morton have all signed on to be part of this epic journey. Can’t wait to see these talented artists bring the story to life!

In 2007’s Juno, Page achieved stardom and more recently appeared in Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy. Similarly, Patel acted in 2018’s Yesterday and on HBO’s The Franchise. Irwin has showcased his talents across various productions, such as Rustin, Third Rock from the Sun, Sesame Street, and CSI. Morton is a two-time Academy Award nominee, most recognized for playing a significant role in Starz’s The Serpent Queen.

The roles assigned to Page, Patel, and Irwin in the upcoming project have yet to be revealed, similar to other casting choices within The Odyssey. All three actors have previously collaborated with Nolan; Page featured in his 2010 film Inception, Patel appeared in the 2020 release Tenet, and Irwin portrayed TARS the robot in Interstellar.

The team will be part of a truly stellar ensemble for the upcoming project. Earlier, it was disclosed that Robert Pattinson, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Anne Hathaway were all set to appear in this project. More recently, Benny Safdie has also been confirmed as joining the cast.

Initial indications point towards Robert Pattinson, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Anne Hathaway forming the main cast members of the upcoming film. Lupita Nyong’o and Zendaya, who have been recently rumored to be involved, are expected to take on supporting roles. Additionally, Charlize Theron may also join them in a significant role.

It has also been reported that John Leguizamo is set to join the movie in some capacity.

Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie titled “The Odyssey” is a grand mythical action adventure that will be filmed worldwide using state-of-the-art IMAX camera technology. According to Universal, this film marks the first time Homer’s classic tale will be displayed on IMAX screens, and it is set to hit cinemas everywhere on July 17, 2026.

One of the two legendary Greek epics commonly associated with Homer, an esteemed Greek poet revered for his works like The Iliad, is known as The Odyssey. Homer’s influence on literature and human history has been immense and enduring.

The epic tale, “The Odyssey,” narrates the adventures of the legendary Greek hero, King Odysseus of Ithaca, on his way back home following the Trojan War. Believed to be deceased, Queen Penelope and their son, Telemachus, face the challenges posed by numerous suitors who seek Penelope’s hand in marriage while Odysseus is away.

In the 8th or 7th century BC, it’s believed that The Odyssey was penned down, making it a significant piece in the annals of literature.
