As a dedicated fan of Gabriel Basso and political thrillers, I can hardly contain my excitement as Netflix unveils the trailer for The Night Agent Season 2! Having binge-watched the first season multiple times, I’ve lived through Peter Sutherland’s harrowing adventures to save the President.

Netflix enthusiasts who love Gabriel Basso will be delighted this holiday season, as Netflix unveiled a trailer for the second season of “The Night Agent.” This gripping political drama is set to return on Netflix starting January 23, 2025.

According to Matthew Quirk’s novel, “The Night Agent” follows the story of FBI agent Peter Sutherland, who starts off as a low-ranking employee but manages to save the President in Season 1. This act earns him a chance to become a Night Agent in Season 2. However, working for this secretive organization puts Peter in a world filled with danger and where trust is scarce.

Beyond Basso, the cast of The Night Agent Season 2 also features Luciane Buchanan, Amanda Warren, Berto Colon, Michael Malarkey, Keon Alexander, Hong Chau, Arienne Mandi, Louis Herthum (appearing twice due to different characters), Brittany Snow, Teddy Sears, Navid Negahban, and Rob Heaps.

Shawn Ryan (responsible for The Shield and S.W.A.T.) is the mastermind behind the creation, management, and executive production of the series, working alongside MiddKid Productions.
