As a dedicated fan who has followed the Demon Slayer series since its humble beginnings, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming sequel to The Hinokami Chronicles! The first game was an absolute masterpiece that perfectly captured the essence of the anime and manga, and I eagerly await the chance to dive back into the world of Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, and Zenitsu.
Initial responses to “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles” were largely favorable.
Fans particularly appreciated its faithful adaptation of the anime and the engaging combat system.

In the year of ’21, I found myself immersed in a thrilling 3D brawler that drew inspiration from the cherished Demon Slayer anime and manga series.
It covers the events of the first two arcs, the Final Selection and Mugen Train arcs.
This game, brought to you by Aniplex, blends a captivating narrative with intense battle scenes. It empowers players to command well-known characters such as Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, and Zenitsu. They engage in combat against diverse demon adversaries.
In addition, you have the option to assume various roles when playing either ranked or casual multiplayer matches. This allows you to engage in competitive battles with other players, whether it’s a one-on-one (1v1) or two-versus-two (2v2) confrontation, all while enjoying the classic fighter game format.
In a similar fashion to games such as Tekken or Mortal Kombat, you need to input specific key sequences to configure your character’s offensive moves and special abilities.
As with most anime adaptations, the story is only a faithful retelling of the manga story.
In this respect, fans will have to make do with a faithful retelling of an already familiar story.
New Characters and Arcs
It’s been formally revealed that the next chapter, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2,” is on its way.
The narrative will unfold fresh storylines, commencing with the “Entertainment District Saga” and culminating in the “Hashira Training Saga.” Throughout this journey, the focus will shift between battling the ominous “Rising Moons,” a group of demons, and undergoing rigorous training as Hashira to confront “Mugen,” the supreme demon.
Thrilling new elements, including playable characters Mitsuri and Muichiro, together with fresh combo attacks, have already been verified.
