As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for romantic comedies, I must say the trailer for The Merry Gentlemen has piqued my interest. The prospect of Chad Michael Murray channeling his inner Magic Mike is quite enticing, and having Britt Robertson on board only adds to the excitement.


Netflix unveiled a trailer for their upcoming holiday romantic comedy titled “The Merry Gentlemen“, featuring Chad Michael Murray playing the role of Luke and Britt Robertson as Ashley. Beginning on November 20, 2024, you can stream this film right from your device.

In the latest Netflix production, Mother of the Bride, Murray appeared alongside Brooke Shields and Miranda Cosgrove. Similarly, Lindsey Lohan, who previously starred with Murray in The Merry Gentlemen, is set to feature in another Netflix holiday movie titled Our Little Secret. The ensemble cast also includes Marla Sokoloff (The Practice) as Marie, Beth Broderick (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) as Lily, Michael Gross (Tremors) as Stan, Maxwell Caulfield (Grease 2) as Danny, Hector David Jr. (Power Rangers Samurai) as Ricky, Colt Prattes (This Close) as Troy, and Marc Anthony Samuel (General Hospital) as Roger.

In the plot summary, a previous city dancer resolves to organize a festive, male-only show at her parents’ struggling local theater as a way to save it during the holiday season.

The film The Merry Gentlemen was helmed by director Peter Sullivan, who collaborated on the script with Sokoloff.
