183 years prior to the events in the initial trilogy of movies, this story revolves around King Helm Hammerhand’s House of Rohan. A vengeful and cunning Dunlending lord named Wulf launches an attack against Helm, putting his people in a perilous position. In response, they rally for a valiant last stand within the Hornburg, an ancient stronghold that would later be renowned as Helm’s Deep. As their circumstances grow dire, Héra – Helm’s daughter – must gather her strength to lead the resistance against an adversary determined to bring about their complete annihilation.
