Having experienced the game on other platforms last year, I am thrilled at the prospect of venturing into Moria once more, this time with the added allure of crossplay and the sandbox mode.

Free Range Games developer has set a launch date for “The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria” on Steam and Xbox Series X|S. Coinciding with this release, they will also unveil “The Golden Update,” which brings cross-platform play, sandbox mode, and additional features.

On August 27, 2024, you can play “The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria” on Steam and Xbox Series X|S! For a short while, this epic adventure will be offered at a reduced price of $19.99 on both platforms.

Last year, the survival crafting game was launched on Epic Games Store and PS5, and the upcoming Gold Update will be accessible on these platforms, along with Steam and Xbox. One attractive aspect of this update is crossplay across all platforms, allowing for two-player games to be hosted. Interestingly, Steam stands out because players can organize 8-player sessions, regardless of the platforms of the participating players.

These items can also be utilized in the campaign mode as well.
