Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming romantic comedy-drama film titled “The Life List“. Starring Sofia Carson (from “Purple Hearts”), this movie will be available for streaming starting on March 28, 2025.

The summary goes like this: “When Alex Rose (Carson) is tasked by her mother to fulfill her childhood dreams, it leads her on a heartwarming and emotional voyage. As she unearths family mysteries, experiences romance, and gains self-discovery, you’ll find yourself laughing, crying, and rooting for her every step of the way.

What happens in The Life List trailer?

The video showcases Carson embarking on a personal exploration to honor her mother’s posthumous wishes, all while navigating her sorrow. Along this voyage, she’ll unearth family mysteries and encounter fresh faces who will aid her in executing her mother’s desires. Apart from Carson, the ensemble includes Kyle Allen as Brad, José Zúñiga as Samuel, Sebastian de Souza as Garrett, Connie Britton as Elizabeth, Jordi Mollà as Johnny, Dario Ladani Sanchez as Lucas, Federico Rodriguez as Julian, Rachel Zeiger-Haag as Catherine, and others.

The movie in question was crafted both in writing and direction by Adam Brooks, who has a history in the romantic comedy realm, having directed Definitely, Maybe starring Ryan Reynolds back in 2008. This production is adapted from Lori Nelson Spielman’s novel with the same title, published in 2013. Liza Chasin of 3dot Productions takes on the role of producer for this film, while Hutch Parker, Brooks, Margaret Chernin, and Kerry Orent are slated as executive producers.
