As a long-time fan of The Legend of Zelda series, I can honestly say that Echoes of Wisdom has truly outdone itself. With its captivating storyline, immersive gameplay, and stunning graphics, it’s no wonder it’s joined Nintendo’s Million-Seller club!


It’s no shock that The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has joined Nintendo’s elite group of Million-Sellers, given the consistent success of The Legend of Zelda games. As the most recent installment in the series, with Link as the leading character, it has already surpassed sales of 2.5 million copies.

On November 5, 2024, Nintendo unveiled its Q2 2025 financial reports, showcasing that The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has achieved sales of approximately 2.5 million units since its debut on September 26, 2024. This puts the game in Nintendo’s esteemed collection of Million-Seller First-Party Titles, joining other successful games such as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Luigiā€™s Mansion 2 HD, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Although Echoes of Wisdom has been a hit, Nintendo has adjusted downward its projected software sales by 5 million units for the fiscal year ending 2025. This now puts their anticipated software sales at 160 million units. Similarly, the company has reduced its hardware sales forecast to 12.5 million units for the same period.
