During Sony’s presentation at CES, though mainly centered around technology, there were some unexpected announcements concerning their gaming and movie sectors. Among these revelations was the news that The Last of Us Season 2 will debut in April.
At the CES event, a fresh trailer for The Last of Us Season 2 was unveiled, showcasing both new and familiar characters. Abby, who was initially introduced and prominently featured in The Last of Us Part 2 video game and is played by Kaitlyn Dever, is further explored. Additionally, glimpses were given of Ellie, Joel, and Tommy.
During their CES keynote, Sony mentioned that The Last of Us Season 2 was among several projects they were considering for adaptation. Additionally, they shared that adaptations for Helldivers, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Ghost of Tsushima have also begun development.
Initially, it was announced that The Last of Us Season 2 would debut in 2025, but now we know that it’s set to air within April of that year.
