As a dedicated gamer, I must admit that shelling out a chunky sum for a collector’s edition of a video game isn’t usually something I justify. However, if Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s unique collector’s version hits the market, it might just be the one exception worth splurging on.
Warhorse Studios announced on Twitter about an eBay auction for a signed edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, with the earnings donated to Cesta Domů, a charity based in Prague that offers palliative care to individuals who can’t afford healthcare. In other words, it’s a worthy cause you might want to consider supporting.
Deliverance 2, currently up for auction, comes with a copy of the game, a statue of Henry and his horse Pebbles, an expansion pass, a bonus quest, a cosmetic bundle, real-life items like a “letter of hope,” a cloth map, pins, and collectible cards. What sets this edition apart is that it has been opened, signed by prominent members of Warhorse Studios and the main actors, Tom McKay (Henry) and Luke Dale (Hans), and then re-boxed.
Most significantly, every penny you spend on Warhorse’s exclusive Collector’s Edition will be donated to charity. At present, the highest bid for the PS5 edition stands at $940, while the Xbox copy has a top bid of $690. Interestingly, PC gamers seem to be particularly generous, with the top bid for the PC version reaching an impressive $3,550.
