Magnolia Pictures recently released a trailer for their forthcoming humorous bowling film titled “The Gutter“, set to premiere both in cinemas and on digital streaming platforms starting November 1.

Who is in The Gutter trailer?
In the video, we meet Shameik Moore portraying Walt, who unexpectedly rises to fame in bowling after starting work at his neighborhood bowling alley. Additionally, the trailer showcases D’Arcy Carden from The Good Place and Academy Award-winner Susan Sarandon. Notably, Sarandon will be Walt’s toughest opponent on the lanes.
As a fan, I’d rephrase it as follows: “After finding himself out of work, Walt (Moore) takes up a job tending bar and cleaning shoes at his local bowling alley, AlleyCatz. It feels like he’s finally found a place where he belongs. But when financial troubles threaten AlleyCatz, Skunk (Carden), a former pro-bowler and current champion drinker, persuades Walt to embrace his destiny as the greatest bowler ever. As Walt rises through the ranks with his flamboyant style and love for big winnings, critics like Angelo Powers, a ratings-driven news anchor, and Linda ‘The Crusher’ Curson (Sarandon), a legendary bowler returning from retirement, fiercely try to extinguish Walt’s rising stardom before it ignites too brightly.
The movie “The Gutter” is helmed by directors Yassir Lester and Isaiah Lester, who also serve as executive producers along with Jillian Apfelbaum, Helen Estabrook, Nic Gordon, Jared Hess, Daniel McGilvray, and Tristen Tuckfield.
