Netflix’s The Gentlemen Season 2 just got a major update.
The popular Netflix action-comedy series produced by Guy Ritchie, which premiered on the streaming platform in March 2024, was quickly renewed for a second season just a few months later. As of now, not many details about the show’s future have been disclosed beyond the fact that it has been renewed.
In this series, The White Lotus’s star Theo James takes on the role of main character Edward “Eddie” Horniman, partnered with Kaya Scodelario portraying Susie Glass. Daniel Ings steps into the shoes of Lord Freddy Horniman, while Giancarlo Esposito appears as Stanley Johnston, and other talented actors join them in this production.
What is The Gentlemen Season 2 update?
The huge streaming service has revealed that the second installment of The Gentlemen series is currently being filmed, with a sneak peek featuring James’ character, Eddie, pointing a gun upwards. This implies that production on Season 2 is underway as we speak.
In addition to Annabelle Apsion, the Season 1 ensemble also features Joely Richardson portraying Sabrina Horniman, Joshua McGuire taking on the role of Sticky Pete, Vinnie Jones as Geoffrey Seacombe, Edward Fox as Archibald Horniman, Ray Winstone as Robert “Bobby” Glass, Freddie Fox as Max Bassington, Kristofer Hivju in the part of Florian de Groot, and Laurence O’Fuarain as JP Ward.

While specifics about Season 2 are still kept secret, James hinted in a past conversation with The Hollywood Reporter that the upcoming season will be more expansive and ominous compared to the initial one. He expressed that he, along with creator Guy Ritchie, aimed to develop the series further, ensuring that it doesn’t just replicate the first season for the sake of repetition, as a repeated experience might not be as enjoyable.
