Blue Fox Entertainment has unveiled a trailer for “The Gardener,” the highly anticipated U.S premiere of the French action comedy featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme. This film is set to launch on digital platforms and some theaters starting June 6.

What happens in The Gardener trailer?

The video showcases the seasoned action star taking on the main role, a character who consents to safeguard a presidential hopeful following an unexpected discovery of his greenhouse. At present, Van Damme is set to appear in another action-packed thriller titled “Silent Kill,” as well as the animated action film “What’s My Name.” The ensemble cast also features Michaël Youn, Nawell Madani, Kaaris, Matthias Quiviger, Jérôme Le Banner, and Carla Poquin.

The film “The Gardener” is helmed by David Charhon (known for “The Last Mercenary”), who collaborated with Vincent De Brus and Sebastien Fechner on the screenplay. Together with Sebastien Fechner, Charhon serves as the producer. Other key members of the creative team include cinematographer Thierry Arbogast, editor Guillaume Houssais, composer Alexandre Azaria, production designer Hubert Pouille, and others. “The Gardener” is a production of Rose Productions.

Each year, the Prime Minister maintains a clandestine register of political adversaries marked for elimination. In this list, Serge Shuster, a high-ranking official with ties to the presidency, is unfortunately included – signifying he will be targeted for assassination by an elite government assassination squad within 48 hours. Facing imminent death, Serge, his spouse, and their offspring have but one remaining option: the enigmatic gardener, Léo.
