The Last Dagger is the tool everyone’s talking about, and YouTube content creator Vash Cowaii from The First Descendant channel has demonstrated a method to defeat Defiler in just six seconds. However, it’s possible to bring down the boss even faster, within five or four seconds, but the time can vary depending on your skill level.
The weapon used in the guide is The Last Dagger combined with the following mods:
- Electric Priority
- Electric Enhancement
- Concentration Priority
- Better Concentration
- Fire Rate UP
- Have Aiming
- Action and Reaction
- Weak Point Sight
- Ultra-Precision Strike
- Mental Focus
Below are the cores:
- Electric ATK – 1.84
- Firearm ATK – 0.8
- Firearm ATK – 0.8
- Fire Rate – 0.2
- Fire Rate – 0.2
Below are the stats for The Last Dagger:
- Weak Point Damage – 0.12
- Critical Hit Damage – 0.368
- Firearm ATK – 0.122
- Critical Hit Rate – 0.133
In the game played by Vash Cowaii, the ability utilized is called Gley. When entering the field, a strategy is to repeatedly use your abilities momentarily to lower your health. Subsequently, you’ll perform two grapples to move closer to him. During the second grapple, you’ll instantly initiate your heightened sensory and start firing continuously.
The aim is to proactively construct your Mental Focus layers in advance. During the time before Defiler appears, using Gley allows you to gradually increase your stack count towards the 150 limit without losing any stacks. This way, you fully enjoy the advantage of the Mental Focus modifier.
In the fight, it’s suggested that you aim for the weak spot on his right knee. This should cause him to trip “prior to releasing his bubbles”. If he releases those small bubbles, it indicates that your attack will last approximately 5 seconds longer.
