When is The First Descendant Season 1?
According to Nexon’s 2024 roadmap, the launch date for “The First Descendant” Season 1 is set for around late August.
As of now, there’s no specific release date announced. However, given that “late-August” refers to the last week of the month, it could be anytime between August 26th and August 30th. On the other hand, The Fabulous Destiny (TFD) Season 1 is expected this month itself, while Season 2 has been scheduled for early December.

The First Descendant Season 1 new character
In the update version 1.07, Nexon has hinted at introducing a fresh, playable character for the first season of The First Descendant.
From the outline alone, it’s clear that the freshly introduced playable character appears to be female. Nexon further describes her as a “Descendant,” filled with icy rage and poised for attack. It appears she might be equipped with a sniping weapon.
TFD Season 1 leaks
It’s been suggested that leaked information might uncover as many as three new playable characters for The First Descendant. If this leak is accurate, it could be indicating the character for Season 1.
It’s been suggested that one of the upcoming playable characters could be a heroine named Hailey, who appears to have a cool theme and sniper-related abilities based on leaks. This aligns with the hints previously given by Nexon.
The leak for Hailey was shared in a video uploaded by Eutopia, and it mentions the following:

Cold themed, mentions of:

While it hasn’t been confirmed officially, there’s a strong possibility that the new Season 1 character could be Hailey. This speculation arises from the leaked content and hints dropped by Nexon. Fingers crossed, we might find out who the Season 1 character is shortly.
