The First Descendant Season 1 release date

The first season of “The First Descendant” will officially debut on the 29th of August, as announced by Nexon on X.

From the get-go, you can expect Hailey to be one of the characters you’ll play. Nexon has provided information about her skills. She is a cool, sniper-focused character, and her design is striking, with many people drawing comparisons to the legendary Sniper Wolf from MGS1.

When does The First Descendant Season 1 start?

The starting date and times for “The First Descendant Season 1” are as follows: 4AM Pacific Time (PT), 7AM Eastern Time (ET), and 12PM British Summer Time (BST) on August 29th.

According to Nexon, maintenance for TFD Season 1 will begin at 10PM Pacific Time on August 28th and also at 1AM Eastern Time/6AM British Summer Time on August 29th. The maintenance is anticipated to conclude at each of the mentioned times on Thursday.

Starting on August 29th, Season 1 kicks off, but it’s divided into two parts. You can expect the second part to come out on October 10th.

This is an amendment to the previous S1 roadmap that had three updates. Below is Nexon’s message to the community explaining the change:

“Greetings, Descendants. This The First Descendant’s Producer, Lee Beom-jun.

First, I would like to thank all Descendants for enjoying our game.

Lately, I’ve been noticing some concern among you all regarding our Season 1 update rhythm. In light of this feedback, we’ve made the decision to revise our schedule.

In summary, we’re bringing forward the update date from October 30th to October 10th.

Originally, the plan for the schedule called for regular monthly updates prior to each new content rollout.

However, I have to admit that I’ve failed to fully meet your expectations.

Instead of releasing three separate installments, the first season will now be distributed as two updates. The first update is scheduled for August 29^th, while the second will follow on October 10^th.

Additionally, we’ve started looking into the techniques for updating our systems as we approach future seasons.

To make this happen, we’ll combine our third update from Season 1 with the second one. As you’ve seen earlier, this combined update is scheduled for October 10th.

Currently, the Dev team is working on continuous updates and hotfixes since our official launch.

As an enthusiastic follower, I’m thrilled to share that we’re making some exciting changes from within. We’re streamlining our development process, aiming for greater efficiency, and we’re also on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team. The goal is to create an even more engaging experience for all of us!
