As a dedicated fan of The First Descendant, I can’t help but be thrilled about what lies ahead in 2025! Having played since its debut, I must say that the upcoming roadmap promises nothing short of a gaming paradise for us fans. From new characters like Ines Raya and Serena to exciting events such as the Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day celebrations, there’s something for everyone.

The First Descendant has had a strong debut year. Nexon has gained a passionate following, and this is because everyone adores the characters along with the fun gameplay loop. While 2024 has been a good introduction to TFD, the next 12-months should be even better with lots of improvements and additions. There is a roadmap for The First Descendant in 2025, and so far it includes exciting new characters, some gorgeous skins, and significant quality-of-life updates with new features.

It’s clear that there’s plenty to look forward to! In January, Ines Raya will make her debut, and fans are already enthused due to a significant factor. While Nexon hasn’t disclosed all of her abilities, they have highlighted some of her “thrilling” skills. Regrettably, we don’t have any details about the new Season 3 character ‘Serena,’ but she promises to be another fantastic inclusion in the TFD team.
