As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that Embark’s latest announcement for The Finals has left me feeling a bit like a kid waiting for Christmas morning, only to find socks and underwear instead of the highly anticipated toys. Don’t get me wrong; I appreciate the effort they’re putting into their games, but the lack of substantial updates in this 3.11.0 patch feels a tad disappointing.
Embark has disclosed the latest weekly update for The Finals, which is version 3.11.0. Previously, we received a significant update that included some adjustments to Cashout, as well as a few nerfs. Now, Embark has unveiled the patch notes for this update, and despite the launch of a new community event, fans may feel a bit let down.
For enthusiasts of Embark Studios, there’s plenty to anticipate between now and the end of this year. The fourth season of Finals is set to premiere next month, and not long after that, fans can participate in playtests for Arc Raiders – another multiplayer game by Embark, slated for 2025 release. At Gamescom, they announced that Arc Raiders will no longer be a free-to-play title upon its launch next year.
There’s plenty of excitement and expectation building up for Arc Raiders, but before that, there’s The Finals to look forward to. In the meantime, Embark has released the update 3.11.0 patch notes, which introduce the kickoff of a fresh community event.
