The Finals Season 5 reveal details “stunning” new map, Club System and more

As a seasoned player of The Finals, the announcement of Season 5 has sent shivers of excitement down my spine! With its one-year anniversary celebration, this game seems to be going from strength to strength. The new map, Bernal, promises to be as breathtakingly beautiful as Kyoto, and with destructible environments, it’s sure to offer a unique gaming experience.

Embark Studios has officially unveiled Season 5 of The Finals, highlighting numerous updates for their popular free-to-play first-person shooter game. Set to launch on December 12th, this latest season commemorates the one year anniversary of their exceptional multiplayer game.

Labeled as “the most thrilling season so far,” The Finals Season 5 introduces an incredible fresh map into the game, additional weaponry, a Club System, and much more content to keep players engaged. Following the fantastic previous two seasons, the game continues to improve and evolve.

The Finals Season 5 adds Bernal

As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the new Season 5 map, Bernal. Inspired by Latin-American architecture, it boasts an impressive setting surrounded by lush greenery and towering mountain vistas, making it the most visually stunning map in the game since Kyoto was introduced.

Explore the vibrant colonial plaza’s winding cobblestone paths, jump across rooftops or create your own route by going through walls. The map’s center is this plaza, but with destructible environments, you can transform Bernal’s historic beauty into a battleground of your imagination. Will you discover its hidden truths or leave it in shambles?

The Finals Season 5 new weapons

In the latest update of Season 5, Embark has enlarged the play area of the game by introducing two new weapons, known as “The Finals”. Additionally, they’re also incorporating two additional gizmos, tailored for both light and heavy players. Here are the details:

ShAK-50: The Heavy’s formidable weapon, capable of discharging a double bullet blast in one shot, offering incredible force upon every pull of the trigger.

12-gauge Cerberus: A multi-barreled, manually reloaded shotgun carrying three incendiary bullets capable of igniting both competitors and their surroundings into flames.

As an avid gamer, here’s my take on describing the “Gravity Vortex”: My Favorite Gadget! When deployed as the Light, this device triggers a remote activation. It forms a miniature singularity, drawing in everything within its reach – objectives, opponents, and other game elements.

Lockbolt Launcher: A device for the Heavy character, which fires an anchor into the surroundings, securing and suspending up to three targets in place. While anchored, players can move, yet their progress is significantly limited.

Clubs and Sponsors

In simple terms, during Season 5 of The Finals, Embark introduced a unique version of the Clan system. While some games such as Helldivers 2 are yet to implement this feature, Embark has taken the lead by developing a player-friendly tool that enables friends to establish and participate in clubs with fellow players.

Upon becoming a member of this club, you’ll enjoy numerous perks. For instance, joining forces with fellow members can earn you additional Experience Points (XP) and Fans, thanks to a fresh club bonus. Moreover, finding teammates for gameplay will be more straightforward.

In essence, the sponsor system in the game, introduced during Season 4, is undergoing an update. Most existing sponsors will be removed, leaving only VAIIYA, DISSUN, and a returnee, ISEUL-T, as options for you to choose from. If you were previously loyal to ISEUL-T, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock additional premium rewards!

Eventually, special temporary modes like Snowball Blitz for Christmas will be introduced, adjustments to maintain balance and ensure fairness in the game, along with significant improvements to Quick Cash.
