As an ardent gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that The Finals Season 5 is shaping up to be a game-changer. After the slight misstep of Season 3, Embark has managed to regain our trust and excitement with Season 4, and I am positively buzzing for what’s coming next.
Just one more week remains until The Finals Season 5 makes its debut, and with Season 4 serving as a strong comeback following an average Season 3, excitement among fans is palpable as they eagerly anticipate what’s in store next from Embark. Although it officially launches next week, the opportunity to get an early start on The Finals Season 5 is available for eligible fans who wish to sign up ahead of time.
The release date for Season 5 is December 12th, and this is also when the game is launching on PS4 consoles. Embark has just shared the update 4.10.0 patch notes, and this has announced an anniversary livestream to celebrate The Finals’ one-year birthday. In addition to this livestream, Embark is also revealing more news about S5 today, and it’s “juicy info” that fans “don’t want to miss”.
Next week, everyone gets to savor The Finals Season 5, but if you fulfill Embark’s application criteria, you can start playing a bit earlier.
How to play The Finals Season 5 early
Starting from December 9th, 9AM Pacific Time (or 12PM Eastern Time, 5PM Greenwich Mean Time), you’ll have the chance to play The Finals Season 5 ahead of its official release! To join this exclusive preview event, simply submit an application through Embark.
However, there are a few requirements. You will need to play on PC as the preview event is PC only. In addition, you also need either a Twitch or YouTube channel to participate.
If you fulfill these conditions, simply click “Yes, I’d love to!” next to the question about your interest in joining the Season 5 sneak peek gathering. Don’t forget to input either your YouTube or Twitch channel and your email address for Embark to get in touch with you.
Finally, the application form includes a question about joining The Finals’ content creator program. You have the option to decline participation, so being chosen for the program is not compulsory and you won’t be required to attend the preview.
Should you be fortunate enough to receive an invitation, Embark explicitly mentions “there is no restriction”. Thus, if you’ve been invited, it means you are warmly welcomed and even encouraged to stream live games or create videos for recording.
