As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that The Finals Season 3 has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for me. While I’ve grown to love this game for its unique blend of strategy and action, the current season has left me yearning for more.

The third season of “The Finals” has been less impressive than expected. It started off rocky when Terminal Attack took over Cashout’s place in Ranked mode, and since then it’s had its fair share of letdowns with multiple minor tweaks, few community gatherings, and balance adjustments that left much to be desired. However, Season 3 is wrapping up next month, and the developers of “The Finals” have hinted at some fantastic additions they can’t wait to unveil for Season 4.

1. Take a look at the changes detailed in the version 3.10.0 patch notes from Embark. The majority of this update seems to be well-received, but some players are upset about a popular gadget being significantly weakened or removed. Additionally, developers have recently announced playtests for Arc Raiders, another one of their upcoming free-to-play multiplayer shooter games, which they showcased at Gamescom 2024.

There’s a whole month left until The Finals Season 3 wraps up, but we’ve got something exciting to anticipate – Season 4 is due in September! At this point, specifics are scarce, but Embark has hinted that the soundtrack will be fantastic.

Music has played a significant role in The Finals since its inception, mirroring each season’s overall theme. For instance, the Original Soundtrack for Season 3 was released prior to the chapter unveiling, and this hinted at a Japanese setting that many fans accurately predicted. It would be exciting if a similar approach is taken for Season 4, giving fans an opportunity to speculate about the upcoming theme.

Besides an impressive soundtrack, Rob has hinted at further enhancements for Season 4. Previously identified as a fan of the Heavy weapon, Rob has suggested that one of the new weapons for Season 4 will be used by the Heavy class. In other words, he’s indicating that we can definitely expect to see the “Heavy weapon” in Season 4’s arsenal.
