The Equalizer: Bosch’s Titus Welliver & Juani Feliz Eyed to Lead New Spin-off Show

Titus Welliver and Juani Feliz are being eyed to lead a potential spin-off of CBS’s The Equalizer.

In November 2024, it was revealed that CBS’s show “The Equalizer,” which is a remake of the ’80s series, and features Queen Latifah, would add two new characters in Episode 516. These new characters could potentially lead to their own separate spin-off series later on.

What do we know about Titus Welliver and Juani Feliz’s characters in the world of The Equalizer?

By the stipulated date, it’s been verified that both Welliver and Feliz will feature in Episode 516 of The Equalizer. Welliver takes on the role of Hudson Reed, a CIA agent with an enigmatic link to Robin McCall, while Feliz portrays Samantha Reed, who is proficient in weapons handling and martial arts.

According to an article on Deadline, both Welliver and Feliz are set to appear as guest stars, but they also have the opportunity to become regular cast members if the spin-off gets greenlit.

Titled roles in Amazon Prime Video’s Bosch and Bosch: Legacy have made Welliver particularly famous. He has also appeared as Silas Adams in Deadwood and Jimmy O’Phelan in Sons of Anarchy. Recently, he lent his voice to Rorschach in the two animated Watchmen films from last year. In cinema, he has acted in movies such as Assault on Precinct 13 (2005), Gone Baby Gone (2007), The Town (2010), Argo (2012), Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), Escape Plan 2: Hades (2018), and more.

Feliz is recognized for portraying Isabela Benitez-Santiago in Amazon Prime Video’s Harlem series. She has appeared in films like The Purge: Election Year from 2016, Canal Street from 2018, and Civil War which was released in 2024.

If CBS chooses to proceed with the Equalizer spin-off series, Joseph C. Wilson will take on an executive producer role. In the upcoming season (Spring), episode 516 of The Equalizer, penned by Wilson himself, is set to be aired.
