Nintendo recently unveiled its exclusive title for the Nintendo Switch 2, which is being developed by FromSoftware, the team behind Dark Souls. The game is headed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and although it’s not officially titled Bloodborne 2, it appears to be a follow-up we’ve been eagerly anticipating, dubbed as “The Duskbloods.” This multiplayer (PvPvE) game seems reminiscent of Yarnham, yet there might be more to it than meets the eye. We’ll be diving into the trailer, seeking out lore hints, gameplay specifics, potential resemblances and contrasts with Elden Ring and Bloodborne, but most importantly, understanding why this game is not called Bloodborne 2.
