The Day the Earth Blew Up Max Release Date Set for Looney Tunes Movie

Ketchup Entertainment has revealed that Warner Bros. Animation’s latest Looney Tunes movie, titled “The Day the Earth Exploded“, will be available for streaming starting on its designated release date. This announcement follows approximately two months since the animated comedy first hit theaters.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled about the new adventure starring none other than Porky Pig and Daffy Duck! This time, they’re not just causing chaos at the local bubblegum factory; they’ve stumbled upon an extraterrestrial mind control plot instead! With Earth’s fate hanging in the balance, these two unlikely heroes are our only hope. But watch out – with cosmic odds stacked against them and their town (and the world!) on the line, they might just drive each other completely bonkers in the process!

When is The Day the Earth Blew Up Max release date?

On June 27th, you can stream “The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie” on Max, with a television premiere following on HBO the next day, June 28th. The film features the talented voices of Eric Bauza, Candi Milo, Peter MacNicol, Wayne Knight, and Laraine Newman.

As a gamer, I’ve got to say that this movie was a joint effort by some pretty awesome creators: Pete Browngardt, Darrick Bachman, Kevin Costello, Andrew Dickman, David Gemmill, Alex Kirwan, Ryan Kramer, Jason Reicher, Michael Ruocco, Johnny Ryan, and Eddie Trigueros. They all contributed to the screenplay. The dynamic duo of Pete Browngardt and Sam Register served as executive producers, with Michael Baum taking on the role of the producer. Currently, it’s got a fantastic 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, making it a Certified Fresh watch!

The upcoming premiere of the movie on Max marks a significant full-circle moment as it was initially created as an HBO Max original production. However, due to budget cuts implemented by Warner Bros. Discovery in 2022, the film was taken off their release schedule and offered to other streaming platforms. In 2023, it was announced that Ketchup Entertainment had secured the distribution rights for this movie and decided to distribute it in theaters instead.
