The Day of the Jackal Season 2’s release date could still be over a year away
Redmayne has suggested in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the second season of The Day of the Jackal might not be coming for some time. When asked about Season 2, the actor replied, “I’m afraid I can’t reveal anything.” He further mentioned that he had read some scripts for the upcoming episodes, which might imply that production on Season 2 hasn’t started yet and its release date could still be over a year away. Redmayne expressed his pride in the work they’ve done so far and his excitement to see if they can take it to an even higher level in future seasons.
As a gamer, landing the role in The Day of the Jackal was like discovering the ultimate quest in a grand RPG. This project offered an actor’s dream playground – a chance to flex my skills, from mastering accents and languages to applying makeup and performing stunts. But what made it truly irresistible was the intense emotional depth and the rich tapestry of experiences it promised. In short, it was an opportunity I couldn’t resist, and I eagerly accepted.
