The storyline for Kick-Ass revolves around an adolescent fanatic of comic books who transforms into an untrained vigilante without supernatural abilities, yet he decides to fight crime. However, there’s a significant issue: he lacks proper training and actual powers. In a life-threatening battle against a cold-blooded drug dealer, Kick-Ass miraculously survives thanks to the intervention of two masked, highly competent vigilantes – Big Daddy and his daughter, Hit Girl. As they team up with another novice superhero known as Red Mist, their alliance is tested to its limits when a ruthless mobster, who happens to be the target of Big Daddy’s vengeance, pushes them to the edge of their abilities and skills.
The movie titled “Kick-Ass” was inspired by the comic book series with the same name, created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. within the Marvel universe. This superhero comedy was masterfully directed by Matthew Vaughn, who collaborated with Jane Goldman on the script.
