PLAY COMME des GARÇONS and Converse have collaborated since 2009, resulting in one of the footwear industry’s most iconic products – “Converse with Heart.” Over almost two decades, their designs have incorporated various elements such as recurring patterns, neon colors, shiny midsole sections, and even unintentional appearances at Costco. For the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, they’re adding some heft to their collaboration by focusing on thick platform midsoles.

Across both low and high versions of the Chuck Taylor All-Star, you’ll find variations featuring a high stack. These high styles come in two distinct color schemes: black with red accents and a red heart logo, or white with black accents and heart logos. Despite the different color combinations, the design elements remain consistent: a thin stripe along the top and middle of the sole, a contrasting heel overlay, and prominently, a heart design by Filip Pagowski, complete with eyes strategically placed on the midfoot.
