This limited series revolves around Christelle ‘Chris’ Blandin, a passionate Parisian rock music enthusiast, who was present during the horrific November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks. Claiming that her friend Vincent was among the many critically injured at the Bataclan Theatre, Chris finds solace and purpose in connecting with survivors. She emerges as a vital asset for this community, rising to prominence within a survivors’ association. However, cracks start appearing in her story, casting doubt on its authenticity – a concern that grows among the genuine victims of the tragedy. This introspective four-part series provokes thought about truth itself and the intricate network of deception spun by one woman.

Who is in The Confidante trailer?

In this trailer for “The Confidante,” we meet the principal actors: Laure Calamy (previously seen in “Dix pour cent” and “Antoinette dans les Cévennes”), Arieh Worthalter (“Le procès Goldman”), Annabelle Lengronne (“Un Petit Frère”), Alexis Manenti (“Les Misérables”), Ava Baya, and Anne Benoît. Based on real-life occurrences, The Confidante is a movie helmed by director Just Philippot (known for La Nuée, Acide) from a script penned collaboratively by Fanny Burdino, Jean-Baptiste Delafon, Samuel Doux, and Alexandre Kauffmann.
