As a hardcore horror fan and avid follower of the Collector franchise, I’ve been waiting with bated breath for any update on The Collector 3. The rollercoaster ride of legal entanglements has left me feeling like a kid on Christmas morning, now that director Marcus Dunstan has confirmed that the project is finally moving forward.
The situation is promising for “The Collector 3” movie. Director Marcus Dunstan has shared that the complicated legal issues connected to the franchise have been dealt with. Consequently, production on the third part can now commence, long after its initial announcement.
As a huge fan of the Saw franchise, I was thrilled when the John Kramer origin story, originally intended as a spin-off, evolved into a standalone film in 2009, titled “Jigsaw,” starring Josh Stewart. The series continued with “The Collection” in 2012. Although production on the next chapter, named “The Collected,” had been halted despite some filming already underway, director Stuart Gordon recently announced that it is now free from any delays and fans can anticipate an even scarier third installment.
What is in The Collector 3 update?
As someone who has followed The Collector’s legal battles for the past five years, I can tell you that the news of his imminent return is both exhilarating and terrifying. It’s been a long road since we first heard about his legal entanglements, and now, with just under 24 hours until his release, the anticipation is palpable.
I’ve had the privilege of watching and analyzing a fair share of films throughout my life, and I truly believe that every new movie has the potential to surpass its predecessors. The creators behind “All My Friends Are Dead” have masterfully blended humor, hope, and various other emotions in their production. The unique approach of using capitalized humor during character development and then sporadically throughout the film keeps audiences engaged and off-balance.
As a long-time fan of the director’s work, I’m thrilled to hear that #AMFAD: All My Friends Are Dead is finally set to hit theaters on August 2. This news brings me great joy and anticipation, as I’ve been eagerly waiting for the next installment in The Collected series.
