Nathan Mitchell on Black Noir’s story in The Boys Season 5
In the very same interview, Mitchell learned from the show’s creator and head writer, Eric Kripke, about his character’s future, and the response he received left him utterly thrilled.
“Mitchell shared that he chatted with Eric about the upcoming Season 5, and he’s absolutely thrilled! He had some suggestions in mind, but when Eric revealed his plans, Mitchell was blown away, exclaiming it’s exactly what he’s always wanted. He’s overjoyed we get to delve into that storyline,” he added.
Actor from Ginny & Georgia, Mitchell, shared his thoughts about potential actions for his character in season 5. He expressed a desire to explore ways his character, Black Noir, can challenge the constraints of his role, specifically by defying Homelander.
As I delved deeper into the gripping tale spun by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson in their graphic novel masterpiece, an unexpected twist unfolded: at the climax, Black Noir unmasked himself as a genetic twin to Homelander, snuffing his life out.
Regarding the finale of The Boys, Mitchell stated he wasn’t aware of the details. He said, “Nobody has shared that information with me yet. I understand they are figuring it out, but no, they’ve been keeping it under wraps.”
