As a seasoned wrestling fan with decades of memories etched into my mind, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement when I heard that CM Punk would be joining forces with the original Bloodline for Survivor Series: WarGames!
As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to announce that on Saturday at Survivor Series: WarGames, I’ll be joining forces with the legendary Bloodline! Stepping into the role of the absent fifth member, I can hardly contain my excitement for this epic team-up!
Last week on WWE SmackDown, Paul Heyman returned to television after nearly five months. He announced that CM Punk would join the original Bloodline as their fifth member for Survivor Series: WarGames. Punk then made his way to the ring and fought alongside the original Bloodline to take down Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline.
Roman Reigns appeared taken aback when Punk stepped in to assist him, locking eyes with him inside the ring while Heyman remained on the apron. The pair maintained this intense standoff as Sami Zayn and The Usos entered the scene, lifting their fingers high. At the same time, Punk executed his famous sleeping pose alongside the original Bloodline.
For a year now, CM Punk has been back in WWE following almost a decade away. As Survivor Series: WarGames nears, Punk will team up with the original Bloodline. Yet, with history between them, one founding member of the Bloodline, Sami Zayn, has recently expressed his views on Punk’s comeback.
Sami Zayn reflects on the past issues with CM Punk
Lately, during WWE Playback, a number of wrestlers revisited last year’s WarGames battle, including CM Punk’s memorable comeback at the end. One of these wrestlers was Sami Zayn, who expressed his thoughts as he watched the replay. Zayn reminisced about his history with Punk, acknowledging that they had some lingering disagreements to settle.
Sami Zayn stated, “Punk is known to be quite a complex individual who’s had his fair share of highs and lows with many people, whether it’s in the ring or behind the scenes. It seems there were some lingering issues between us, as we hadn’t spoken for years at that point.
As a fervent fan, I can’t help but share my thoughts on his return. At first, it was a bit surprising, like “huh, okay.” But as we conversed, we managed to iron out any differences. Honestly, my opinion doesn’t matter much in the grand scheme. What truly counts is the excitement of those people, who are leaping from their seats! I believe that’s what truly matters.
This weekend, the two stars have settled their disputes and plan to join forces at the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames event.
