As a dedicated Isaac: Rebirth player with over a decade of gaming experience under my belt, I can confidently say that this latest announcement is music to my ears! The long-awaited coop mode finally seems to be on its way, and the fact that it’s coming free of charge is just the icing on the cake.

In unison, they declared the arrival of the fresh online cooperative gameplay mode! As stated by McMillen, this is set to debut on November 18 and will come at absolutely no cost.
The coop update will not just bring online coop, but also new completion markers and a bunch of balance fixes that “heavily [focus] on buffing items you guys believe are lackluster/bad.”
Beneath McMillen’s original post, there were numerous pieces of concept art, discarded storyboards for scenes, and even insights into the development process of certain bosses shared. It’s quite intriguing to examine these and observe what eventually made it into the finished product of the game.
Sadly, there have not been any concrete patch notes, but that might change in the very near future!
