As a seasoned veteran of Wuthering Waves, I’ve seen my fair share of updates and new characters, but none have left me as impressed as the enigmatic Shorekeeper. With her Spectro support abilities, she’s a game-changer for those who can master her intricate mechanics.

In update 1.3, The Shorekeeper was introduced as a top-tier Resonator to Wuthering Waves. This character belongs to the Spectro group and primarily serves as a support role, which could lead to tricky choices for all you Verina enthusiasts.

As a gamer, I’ve got to say, the Shorekeeper is a mighty fresh support character that’s bound to claim the top spots in the rankings for many of us players.

  • Best weapon – Stellar Symphony (Rectifier) – Increase HP by 12% and restore eight Concerto Energy when casting Resonance Liberation. This effect can be triggered once every 20 seconds. When casting Intro Skill that heals, increase nearby party member’s ATK by 14% for 30 seconds. This can be triggered once every 20 seconds. Fully leveled, it will offer an ATK of 412 and 77% Energy Regen.
  • Best Echoes – The main Echo will be the all-new Fallacy of No Return that you can get from the boss of the same name.  This is a 4 Cost, so you will want to back it up with the two 3 Cost and two 1 Cost echoes to hit that all-important cap of 12. For the Sonata Effect, we want a five-piece of Rejuvenating Glow for not just improved healing but also the increased ATK stat for all party members after healing anyone in the group. 

If you’re unable to activate the Stellar Symphony, I recommend considering the Variation Rectifier instead. It might not offer all of the Stellar Symphony’s advantages, but it still provides a partial benefit. As an alternative, you could try the Comet Flare, just remember to incorporate some basic or powerful attacks to maximize its healing potential.

For Echo Substats, prioritize Healing Bonus and Energy Regeneration, along with any enhancements to Spectra Damage. Everything else, whether it’s a matter of personal preference or can be traded for optimal scores in the aforementioned stats, is secondary. Keep in mind that Energy Regeneration significantly impacts your teammates through Resonance Ability, making it crucial not to underestimate its importance.

The main component of the Shorekeeper’s gear is the Stellarrealms. With her special ability, End Loop, she can generate a Stellarrealm, and anyone inside this realm will regain health. What makes it exciting is that more realms can be produced within the initial one.

Utilizing an “Intro” skill results in the generation of a fresh “Stellarrealm.” Each application adds a distinct new impact, which can be combined with previous ones. This combination process is referred to as layering.

  • Scorekeeper casts her Resonance ability.
  • Outer Stellarrealm is created – all party members heal within the realm
  • Perform Intro Skill with the next character within the radius of the Stellarrealm
  • Inner Stellarrealm is created – Inside the realm, for every 0.2% of the Shorekeeper’s Energy Regen, gain 0.01% bonus Crit Rate up to 12.5%
  • Perform Intro Skill with the next character within the radius of the Stellarrealm
  • Supernal Stellarrealm is created – – Inside the realm, for every 0.1% of the Shorekeeper’s Energy Regen, gain 0.01% bonus Crit Rate up to 25%, and the next casting of the Shorekeeper’s Intro Skill will cast Discernment instead. Discernment will shut down the Stellerealm and perform a mass heal, along with a guaranteed critical Spectro attack against enemies.

If executed correctly, our third character in rotation could potentially boost their Critical Rate by approximately 37.5%, and it’s highly likely that they’ve already developed their own Critical Rate capabilities too.

Best team for Shorekeeper

In an optimal scenario, we’d assemble a team consisting of two characters with strong analytical abilities alongside her. I frequently paired Xiangli Yao and Yinlin with her, which often led to quite the spectacle!

Alternatively, Jiyan or Havoc Rover could work as well. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that the powerful Calcharo, who dominated on launch day due to his lightning-quick attack pace and high criticals, might experience a significant comeback here.
